What models can be used
Model representation (or ‘WYSIWYG’) is enforced to a reasonable extent. You should be able to tell what model is on the board just by looking at it; so the main weapon must be correct, as must the base size and model size/scale. Smaller details such as pistols/side-arms, equipment or extras are not required to be exact, but these differences should be noted pre-game. If you have any queries regarding WYSIWYG, please contact us ASAP to ensure no issues during the event!
Painting Requirement
Armies should be painted to Games Workshop’s battle-ready standard. Anything unreasonable will be removed from play.
Prizes
We will be awarding prizes for the following categories:
- Champion ( Best General )
- Coolest Army ( Player Voted )
- Best Sports ( Player Voted )
- Best Social Media Award ( Cool stuff you do online before or during the event please #TSNArena )
- Best Dressed ( Judges Choice )
Scoring
Pairings and final results will be Win, Loss or Draw as the primary and the Differential system will be the secondary.
Sportsmanship
We expect events to run as smoothly and controversy free as all of our other tournaments. Please remember that people may take different approaches to gaming to your group and all players will be expected to resolve rules disputes patiently and amicably. Please seek out an organiser if you cannot resolve a situation.
Table etiquette, Time-keeping and penalties
Take a few minutes before each game to run through your rules. You needn’t divulge your game-winning tactics but briefly summarizehow your force works. Be mindful of the timing of games with particular attention paid to getting through the turns equally with your opponent. To ensure this happens, chess clocks are mandatory and provided.
- Dice rolls should be flat on the game mat, not cocked, nor on terrain, lists etc.
- Announcements will be made giving time remaining notifications.
- Please have access to your rules, either digitally or physically so your opponent can see.
Wargaming events are fun experiences and made better by how you act on the tabletop. The more enthusiasm and good natured your energy on the table the better game you will have.
Game System Rules
Some game systems require a little more information than the designers provide. We’ve come up with a range of rules and clarifications that we think make for the most fun events. Usually, these additonal rules apply to things like Team events.
Age of Sigmar
Missions for Age of Sigmar events will be visible on the Milarki Page for that event.
Age of Sigmar Team Events
- Each army list must not contain any unit, enhancement, RoR or AOR found in any other army list for that team.
- Team can only use one version of an Army including AoR’s
- Example: if you have a Stormcast army you can’t have another or a stormcast army or AOR. Your team can have a Stormcast RoR in another army.
Warhammer: The Old World Team Events
- No two armies can be from the same faction
- No two armies can have the same units as each other
- No two armies can have the same magic items accept very common magic items
- Mercenaries are allowed
- Allies are not allowed
- The rule of 3
- No more than 3 of a unit unless it has another restriction the the list building in which case that applies
